How To Backup Your Minecraft Server

Backing up your Minecraft server on JoyStack is a simple process that can save you a lot of time and effort in the event of data loss or server issues. Here's how to do it:

  1. Log in to your JoyStack dashboard and navigate to the "Server" tab.
  2. Locate the server you want to back up and click the "Manage" button.
  3. In the server management page, click the "Backup" tab.
  4. Click the "Create Backup" button. This will initiate the backup process, which may take a few minutes to complete depending on the size of your server. Once the backup is complete, you will see a notification and the backup will be listed in the "Backup" tab.
  5. That's all there is to it! You can create backups as often as you like, and JoyStack will store up to 3 of the most recent backups for you. In the event that you need to restore your server from a backup, simply click the "Restore" button next to the desired backup in the "Backup" tab.

It's always a good idea to regularly back up your Minecraft server to ensure that you have a recent copy of all your important data. With JoyStack, it's easy to do so and you can have peace of mind knowing that your server is protected.
